Ladies and gentlemen

 

I would like to give you all a warm welcome to the FIG Trampoline World Cup here in Valladolid.
This is a great opportunity for all the participants to display their dedication, artistry, ability and passion for our beloved sport.
Special thanks for the City of Valladolid and the Gymnastics Federation of Castilla y León to host this wonderful event.
Trampoline Gymnastics is a fantastic sport, full of energy and splendour.

With that being said, I hope you all have a great experience and a very successful competition.

Venue – pabellón

Pisuerga Sports Centre

 

The Pisuerga Sports Centre is a multipurpose indoor arena, located in the Spanish city of Valladolid. It is municipal property and was built in 1985 to host the World Championships in Rhythmic Gymnastics. It has a capacity of 6100 spectators. It is located in the Plaza de Mexico s / n. 

 

Usually serves as headquarters for the main basketball team in the city, the Club Basketball City of Valladolid. Also in this venue have been held the best sports events, such as two Copas del Rey Basketball matches;  the World League Volleyball;  National Tournament Table Tennis; Super Cup Handball; World  Agility Championships and many other events sports, among which include two World Cups Gymnastics Trampoline held in 2013 and 2015 with great success. 

 

During the summer of 2010 all the stands were remodeled by placing seats with backs in all areas. 

 

It also has two additional zones, a qualified for basketball games and other practices  and other multipurpose area where currently training artistic, rhythmic and trampoline gymnastics are performed daily. 

 

What makes this sports arena under an extraordinary couple holding World Cup Championship Trampoline.

 

Pabellón Polideportivo Pisuerga

 

El Pabellón Polideportivo Pisuerga es un pabellón cubierto multiusos, situado en la ciudad española de Valladolid. Es de propiedad municipal y fue construido en 1985 para albergar el Campeonato del Mundo de Gimnasia Rítmica. Tiene un aforo de 6100 espectadores. Está situado en la Plaza de México s/n. 

 

Normalmente sirve como sede para los partidos del principal equipo de baloncesto de la ciudad, el Club Baloncesto Ciudad de Valladolid. Además en este recinto se han celebrado los mejores eventos deportivos, tales como dos Copas del Rey de Baloncesto, partidos de la liga mundial de Voleibol, Torneo Nacional de Tenis de Mesa, Súper Copa de Balonmano, Campeonato del Mundo de Agility y otros muchos acontecimientos deportivos, entre los que cabe destacar las dos Copas del Mundo de Gimnasia Trampolín celebradas en 2013 y 2015, con gran éxito. 

 

Durante el verano de 2010 se remodelaron todas las gradas colocando asientos con respaldo en todas las zonas.  

Cuenta además con dos zonas adicionales, un frontón habilitado en la actualidad para partidos y entrenamientos de baloncesto, y otra zona polivalente, donde en la actualidad se realizan diariamente entrenamientos de gimnasia artística, rítmica y trampolín. 

 

Lo que hacen de este recinto deportivo un extraordinario marco par la celebración del Campeonato del Mundo de Trampolín.
